The guys from Shipley Electric showed up on time and did a great job with several tasks for us. They made a great recommendation for an alternate solution to our initial request, which saved us over 500 dollars. They know their craft and they are meticulous right down to lining up the screws on the switch plate covers :-) I will be calling them back soon to install some outdoor lighting as well. I had a great experience with Shipley Electric and wanted to share how impressed I was with their responsiveness and service. What started as a simple weekend project, trying to replace an older light switch with a motion sensor, quickly turned into a bigger issue when I couldn’t get it working and realized it was also affecting our garage door opener. This all happened on a Saturday night, so I needed help quickly. Bert got back to me first thing Sunday morning, and we were able to schedule a visit for Monday at 10 AM. Adan and Johnny came out and were incredibly professional, respectful, and thoughtful throughout the entire process. They took the time to fix the issue properly and explained everything clearly. While they were here, they also made a few practical recommendations for improvements we could consider down the road. Since I trusted their judgment, I decided to move forward with a couple of those updates on the spot, and I’m glad I did. Overall, I’m very pleased with the quality of service, the communication, and the professionalism from everyone involved.
